We had the pleasure of providing the mobile carnival stage rental for the Sumter County Fair this year. It is one of the most popular events in Bushnell, Florida. This year’s event was held from Friday, March 4 to Saturday, March 12 at the Sumter County Fairgrounds. The fair features a variety of activities including rides, games, food, entertainment, and concerts on our SL100 stage rental.

Tickets for the Sumter County Fair are free for kids 5 and under, only $7 for adults, and $5 for children 6-12. There are even some days that admission is free. If you missed it this year, mark the date in your calendar for next year, and check out at the Sumter county fairgrounds for a week full of fun!
Bands At The Fair
We have found that fairs are a great place to see bands perform. For a great price, you can see some of your favorite bands and enjoy some carnival food too! The stage is usually set up in the middle of the fairgrounds, and bands from all over the area come to play. This is a great way to hear some new music, and there’s always something for everyone. Whether you’re into country, rock, or pop, there’s sure to be an artist playing that you’ll enjoy.

Stage Lighting
Stage lighting is an important part of any concert. It can be used to create different moods and feelings, and it can also be used to make certain aspects of the show more visible to the audience. At the Sumter County Fair we provided our basic 24 LED light package.
The lights in the roof toward the rear are called backlighting, or a slow fade color wash. Backlighting is when light is shone onto the performers from behind. This type of lighting can make them look more dramatic and can also help to highlight certain parts of their performance.
The other type of lighting we provided is called front lighting. Front lighting is when light is shone onto the performers from in front. This type of lighting can make them look more natural and can also help to illuminate the stage better.

There’s just something about providing stages at fairs that makes us love what we do. Maybe it’s the sense of community that comes with helping put on a good show. Or maybe it’s the joy of seeing people come together to celebrate music, art, and culture. Whatever it is, we can’t get enough of it!
